Daren and I both put our names down to work on a polling booth for the election. Daren has done it for many years and this is my first time.
Its a long boring day but worth a bit of pocket money (read Paperific spending money).
Daren has just come home from his 'leaders' training as he is going to be the officer-in-charge of the booth here in Swanpool.
and
he has a grand total of 1 (yes one) staff member with him..................ME!
we are going to make up the whole staffing contingent that will man (read woman) the polling booth here at the St. Aidan's Church at Swanpool.
I hope there is not a crowd rush, or a complication like 'I donna speaka Inglish', or 'I can't remember my name!).
If there is a problem, we are going to be in trouble!!!
